New moms are often bombarded with all the things when it comes to this new stage of life. It can be overwhelming at times to try to figure our what’s best for you and your baby. I get- I’ve been there too, and I’m still learning! The good thing is, each day gets easier!
One thing I really appreciated over these past 6 months, as well as throughout my pregnancy, is recommendations from other moms. I love to hear what they love, what worked for them, and what didn’t. It is my hope I can do the same and be a valuable resource to you too!
3 BABY PRODUCTS I’M LOVING
Boppy 4 and More Multi-use Cover
As a breastfeeding mom, I would be lost without my Boppy support pillow! I’ve shared many times before how that is an absolute must have, even if you’re not breastfeeding (it’s a great support pillow too!), but I also wanted to point out this versatile mesh cover! It works as an infant car seat canopy, a nursing scarf, a stroller and shopping cart cover, plus a highchair cover! I’m all for getting multiple uses with less products and this is perfect since it doesn’t take up much space. It folds into a compact pouch that you can easily carry in your diaper bag while on the go.
Philips Avent Natural Bottles
I mostly breastfeed while we’re home, but I do try to pump once a day to have a small freezer supply of milk so Kaylen can feed from a bottle while we’re out and about on the weekends. Bottles are such a trial and error with babies, but we’ve had great success with these Philips Avent bottles with a Natural Response Nipple. It was designed to support combination feeding and mimics the breast in shape and feel and by letting your baby control the pace of the milk. The nipple only releases milk when baby is actively drinking, just like at the breast, making it easy to switch between breast and bottle.
Baby Magic Calming Products
On days when my baby is extra fussy, I love to use this Baby Magic Calming bath as part of our evening/bedtime routine! It’s made with lavender and chamomile which is extra calming and neutralizing. Following the bath, I like to give a baby massage with the Calming lotion, which also has lavender, chamomile and aloe to help replenish moisture. This always relaxes her and helps her get ready for a good night’s sleep!
