Owning a pet may come with a list of responsibilities, but that doesn’t always mean those tasks have to be time consuming. With a little pre-planning, your pet’s needs can seamlessly fit into your schedule. 
When we decided to bring a third dog into our home, it seemed like a crazy idea at first, but we quickly adjusted. With a little bit of planning, I can now honestly say owning three dogs doesn’t feel any different than one or two.

TIME SAVING TIPS FOR PET OWNERS:

Utilize Order Pickup

Target is my go-to for all things, even dog food! To make life easier, I love taking advantage of their order pickup service! This will save you time from having to shop in store or wait in checkout lines! All you have to do is place your order, then go to Target to pick it up. Everything will be ready for you when you get there!

Create a Dedicated Feeding Space

One way to save time when it comes to feeding your pets is to have a dedicated feeding space for them. You can use a water absorbent mat under the food bowl to help reduce clean up time from any messes left behind. This can be much more convenient than having to clean on the spot each time. 

Meal Prep

Meal prepping isn’t just for humans! This can be done for pets, too! This is very time consuming for those with constantly full schedules. 

Let Your Dog Join You For a Workout

Concerned you don’t have time to make it to the gym and dog park? Let your dog join you on your next workout! You can still get that calorie burn in while walking or jogging, and if you take your dog along with you, it counts as their exercise too! This is an easy way to check two things off your to-do list at once! 

Take Advantage of Mobile Grooming

Hands down the best service invention for pet owners has to be mobile grooming! Don’t have time to make it to the grooming salon? Let the groomer come to you! This saves drop off and pick up time, plus your dog will usually be done with their groom much faster since they will be the only pet getting bathed and groomed at that time!
