I love making simple seasonal changes to my home decor. Aside from fall, spring is my favorite season to decorate for! I love all the bright colors and fun floral prints that are out this time of year.

Since I don’t like to spend a ton of money on seasonal one-time-use decor, I try to buy things that are versatile enough to go through multiple seasons depending on what it is used for, or decor items that can easily be used year after year. 
I’ve rounded up some of my favorite simple ways to add a touch of spring to the home. All of these ideas are budget friendly and can work seamlessly into your current decor!

SIMPLE WAYS TO ADD A TOUCH OF SPRING TO THE HOME

Add Greenery and Florals

Vases are one of my favorite items to decorate with! They’re versatile and can be easily transitioned season after season. You can’t ever go wrong with ginger jars or neutral toned vases. A simple way to add a touch of spring to your home is to add a pop of color with florals & greenery! On top of a coffee table, nightstand, dining table, or kitchen island are all great places to add a pop of color with bright spring seasonal florals. Silk floral stems are my personal favorite since they can be reused year after year.

Play Around with Prints and Patterns

Colorful patterns and floral prints are perfect for spring! Duvets, blankets, and curtains are great statement pieces that can easily be changed out for the season to bring a pop of spring to a room.

Use Throw Blankets as Accents to Add a Touch of Spring

Throw blankets are common in living areas and are great for serving two purposes: being cozy and being a fun accent piece! I tend to change out my throw blankets depending on the season. For spring, I’m all about those floral tones and prints! Click here for some cute affordable throw blankets! 

Change Pillow Covers Seasonally

Buying throw pillow inserts and covers separately is the best option, in my opinion, and takes up a lot less storage space instead of constantly buying and having to store new pillows! This is one of the most inexpensive ways to give your home decor a refresh for spring! Bright throw pillows for beds and the sofa can easily make a statement in any room! 

Use Area Rugs as Accents

Area rugs are also great options for accent pieces! The color of the rug can easily change the look and feel of a room, especially when going brighter for spring! On a smaller scale, runners and welcome mats are also great options for adding pops of color.
