One of my least favorites things of all time is being sick, and I think it’s safe to say everyone would agree!
This time of year is prone to all the contagious things going around, so it’s more important than ever to be proactive with your wellness routine.
I’ve rounded up four wellness products to try this new year, all of which I like to keep stocked in my home for prevention and support.
I always keep a stockpile of vitamins on hand, as well as supplements like essential oils, elderberry, and other natural remedies to support my body and help prevent the spread of germs. I also like to keep certain things on hand in the event I do get sick, like cough drops and other medicines for relief. One of my main priorities for the new year is to focus on my health, and this is just one of the ways I like to do so.
The wellness products I’m about to share with y’all are basic things that can all be found at Walmart, but I think everyone should have in their home. You may even have a similar product already, but I just want to share what I like about these specific products!
4 WELLNESS PRODUCTS TO TRY THIS WINTER
1. Probiotic Gummies
If you currently take probiotics, then I’m sure you are aware of the many health benefits already, but if you’re not taking a prebiotic too, you probably aren’t getting all of the benefits!
These Align DualBiotic gummies take probiotics one step further by incorporating both probiotics and prebiotics into one. They contain a prebiotic fiber called inulin which helps nourish the good bacteria in your digestive system.
If you’re looking for a wellness product to try this winter and are in need of a probiotic/prebiotic combo but you aren’t a fan of pills, then these gummies are for you! This is the easiest way to support a healthy gut with something that actually tastes great. Despite how good they taste, they are naturally flavored and contain less than 1g of sugar per gummy.
2. Fiber Thins
While we’re on the subject of digestive health, let’s talk about fiber. As they say, your overall health is related to your gut health, so that needs to be in tip top shape! Fiber is just as important as prebiotics and probiotics when it comes to your gut health, but depending on your diet and lifestyle, you may not be getting enough.
If you’re looking for a sweet way to incorporate more fiber into your diet, perhaps even turn your snack time into something beneficial, then you may want to try these Metamucil Cinnamon Thins. They contain 100% natural psyllium fiber which helps promote digestive health and regularity while trapping and removing waste that weighs you down.
Bonus: This is a great snack option to control your appetite so you feel less hungry between meals!
3. Vaporizing Cough Drops
These Vicks VapoCool Drops are one of those products I love to keep on hand in my home, especially this time of year when germs and sickness are spreading around! I highly recommend these due to the one of a kind cooling relief from built in Vicks Vapors. They are great for vaporizing the worst sore throat pain. I also love the cooling of the vapors which helps open sinus passageways.
4. Antibacterial Hand Wash
We all know the importance of hand washing, especially during the peak of cold season. Hand washing is the #1 way to prevent the spread of germs, so every home should have antibacterial hand wash, in my opinion.
Dial Complete Antibacterial Foaming Hand Wash is formulated with antibacterial ingredients and is proven to kill 99.99% of germs. I have sensitive skin so I prefer a foaming wash. While this is tough on germs, it’s still gentle on my skin, so that’s a huge plus!

I’d like to try out the gummies. I have been looking for a low sugar option. So many gummies seem to have so much sugar..

Probiotics are great! I take gummy multivitamins, but I have regular probiotic pills to swallow.
I oppose antibacterial hand soap, though. It’s one of the contributing causes to antibiotic-resistant bacteria.
