You can use any kind of prosecco of your choice, but for this recipe I opted for the Santa Margherita Prosecco Superiore. It’s a delicious versatile Italian wine that can be paired with just about anything and works great for this lemon and raspberry flavored summer cocktail!
It’s no wonder this cocktail is always one of my go-to drink recipes for a number of occasions!
If you’re looking for an alternative to prosecco for this cocktail, I highly recommend you substitute the prosecco for sparkling rosé!
I’ve made this raspberry limoncello spritzer with both the prosecco and rosé. The rosé version is also one of my favorites, but both are quite tasty and refreshing!
When I feel like changing things up, rosé is usually my go-to, but I bet this recipe would be delicious with just about any sparkling wine!

We had this last night as a course pairing for a Zoom progressive Italian dinner. Lovely cocktail! My raspberries were quite tart, so i think for future use, I’ll probably go to 1 1/2 or 2 ounces of limoncello mixed with 5 ounces of prosecco. Thank you for the recipe!

The directions say fill glass half way with Prosecco then the rest with limoncello. It doesn’t seem like 1cup of limoncello would be enough for 6 drinks.
Can you add the bottle of Prosecco and 1cup of limoncello to a pitcher then put in glasses?
Lana says
I am confused as well. Half limoncello and half wine or 1 cup lemocella to a half or full bottle of wine in the end? What would it say 1 cup lemonello to yield 6 glasses? Wouldn’t that yield 2 glasses ? I’m assuming no ice is added?
