Happy new year, friends! I’m so excited for the new year and I’ve got the perfect way to welcome in 2018 with a delicious wintry wine cocktail recipe! This pomegranate ginger spritzer is a seasonal favorite of mine that never disappoints!
This recipe calls for only 5 ingredients, so it’s super to make regardless if you just want a glass for yourself or if you want to make an entire pitcher for a party! Grab the recipe below!
POMEGRANATE GINGER SPRITZER RECIPE:
Ingredients
(for individual serving)
– 1/2 cup Llano Estacado Pinot Grigio
– 1 tbs pomegranate arils
– Splash of pomegranate juice
– Splash of ginger ale
– Fresh rosemary for garnish
Instructions
Step 1: Mix all liquid ingredients together.
Step 2: Stir in pomegranate arils.
Step 3: Garnish with fresh rosemary.
The 2016 Llano Estacado Pinot Grigio wine used in this pomegranate ginger spritzer is made from pinot grigio grapes grown on the Texas High Plains and sauvignon blanc. Since there is no oak used in the production of this wine, you can really taste the fruity aromatic characteristics of the wine, which is perfect for this recipe.
If you’re more of a red wine person, you can substitute Llano Estacado Signature Red in place of the Pinot Grigio for a light-to-medium body. The Signature Red wine is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Malbec, and Petite Verdot varieties grown in the French grape growing region of Bordeaux. On another note, I was surprised to see your recent post on reasons to visit Jackson Mississippi. I didn’t know there was a documentary about it. I live about an hour from Jackson and go there often.
