This post on ways women can empower other women is sponsored by Universal Music Group. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Alright ladies, today’s post is just for YOU! Women empowerment is something that is extremely important to me, and I couldn’t think of a better time than now to bring up the subject.
As a blogger and female entrepreneur, I’ll be the first to admit it’s easy for me to get caught in the comparison trap and start to feel down when I compare myself to others. I’m sure a lot of you can also relate, regardless of what profession you’re in. Despite success and accomplishments, self doubt still finds it’s way in. It’s normal.
When I’m feeling down, I always look to others for motivation and empowerment. This can be anybody, from a motivational speaker to a fellow friend or well-known entrepreneur. As women, it’s extremely important for us to empower others as we work towards our own goals. I always try my best to pay it forward and empower others, since many have done the same for me.
I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite ways women can empower other women. These small acts of kindness can really go a long way, so I think they serve as an important reminder for everyone!
WAYS WOMEN CAN EMPOWER OTHER WOMEN:
Lead By Example
Women can empower others women by being a role model and sharing with others how confident and strong you are! We’re all born with this special gift, so it’s always great to flaunt! Nobody understands women better than fellow women do, so having a powerful female role model to look up to is something that will always be inspiring.
Practice Community Over Competition
Everyday presents a new opportunity to learn and grow, and truth be told, it’s easier done with a support system. We all face challenges and the best way to get through them is to support one another rather than tear each other down! We’re all in it together, after all! There’s enough room for success for everyone, and when you practice community over competition, everyone gets a seat at the table.
Don’t Be Afraid to Speak Up
From standing up against the bullies and the mean girls, to simply voicing your opinion out loud, empowered women aren’t afraid to speak up! Speaking up encourages others to do the same.
Always Be Kind
If the words you spoke were written on your forehead, would you still be beautiful? If you can answer yes to this question, you’re doing it right! Everyone has struggles, and you never know what someone could be battling internally. Throw kindness around like confetti, stay humble, and regret nothing.
Provide Constructive Feedback
Complimenting one another can go a long way! By providing constructive feedback, we can help each other grow by sharing new ideas. And always remember to treat others the same way you’d like to be treated!
Speaking of female empowerment, one of my favorite country artists, Keith Urban, recently released his new single called “Female.” If you haven’t heard it yet, I highly encourage you to give it a listen! It is now available to download, stream and purchase here.
The lyrics to “Female” were inspired by the recent increase in assault and sexual harassment incidents that have been taken place lately. It’s a sweet tribute to respecting women and is beautifully written. I love how Keith Urban has taken a bold stand to sing about something very controversial. This is a huge step forward in the right direction! Let’s keep on empowering!

As a woman, I’ve always felt like we should build each other up instead of tear each other down, which is unfortunately what usually happens. Always being kind is a big thing for me, especially when it comes to encouraging other women. If I see someone who is wearing a pretty dress, I mention it. If I like their hair, I ask who does it. In the world of feeling like we have to be model perfect, I think we can all use a little pick me up in every department. Great post!

It is so important that we as women empower and uplift one another. We constantly face so many issues on a daily basis, lack of support from other women does not need to be one of them. These are all excellent tips! This post was spot on!
