Today I’m sharing tips on positive lifestyle changes for digestive health in hopes that anyone struggling can find the right balance, too!
POSITIVE LIFESTYLE CHANGES FOR DIGESTIVE HEALTH:
Avoid Processed Foods
To maintain a positive impact on your digestive and overall health, it’s best to avoid processed foods. Processed foods are known for having lots of artificial ingredients and for being very high in sugar. This can easily lead to overeating and other hidden dangers.
Take a Daily Probiotic
Probiotics are a great way to incorporate more healthy bacteria into your digestive tract. Culturelle® Digestive Health Probiotic^ helps your digestive system work better thanks to the #1 clinically studied probiotic Lactobacillus GG and is a great daily probiotic to take. It has proven support to help reduce occasional digestive upset and helps with occasional diarrhea, gas and bloating.* The vegetarian (gelatin-free) probiotic capsules also helps your digestive system work better.*

Stay Hydrated
Proper hydration plays a positive key role in just about every bodily function, including the digestive system. Water helps move waste through your intestines, which supports healthy digestive functioning. Lemon water is also a great addition to any lifestyle since it’s known to have detox properties.
Eat a High Fiber Diet
Fruit, vegetables, and whole grains are great sources of fiber and should be incorporated into every diet for positive digestive health. We all know fiber is an important part of our daily diet, but sometimes it’s hard to get all of the fiber you need every day. Benefiber® Prebiotic Fiber Supplement is a great way to incorporate more fiber into your diet, and it helps support digestive health.*This statement has not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Benefiber® is a clear, taste-free and 100% natural prebiotic fiber that dissolves completely in foods and beverages.** **it is not recommended for carbonated beverages.
Eat Lean Meats
Lean fish, pork loin, and skinless poultry are great sources of lean meats to incorporate into your diet to benefit the digestive system. Fatty meats are harder for your body to digest and will slow digestion, so it is recommend to avoid those.

I read once that the best way to grocery shop is to walk the perimeter of the store and avoid going into the aisles as much as possible because that’s where all the processed foods are! I’ve started doing that and I find that our diet doesn’t include as many processed items as before. I definitely need to be better at taking a probiotic and always can stand to drink more water!
