With football season being right around the corner, it’s time to start prepping for those tailgates and homegates! When it comes to throwing the perfect football party, it’s all about having the right food. Easy appetizers are the way to go when hosting a large group of people, and best of all, there’s so much opportunity for creativity when it comes to making them!
I’m persoanlly a fan of sweet & salty, so I decided to get creative with a few ingredients I had on hand. These peanut butter pecan cracker bites are super easy to make and taste delicious! Made with candied pecan bits and crunchy peanut butter, these crackers have just the right mix. I can’t wait to make them for our first football party. Grab the recipe below!
PEANUT BUTTER PECAN CRACKER BITES:
Ingredients
Crunchy Peanut Butter
1 Cup Chopped Pecan Pieces
2 Tbs Sugar
Breton Artisanal Cranberry and Ancient Grains
Coconut Oil
Instructions
1. In a mixing bowl, lightly coat 1 cup of chopped pecans with approximately 1 tsp of fractionated coconut oil. Combine sugar and toss until pecan pieces are coated. Add sugar and coconut oil as needed to coat pecans entirely.
2. Spread approximately 1/2 tsp of crunchy peanut butter onto the crackers.
3. Top peanut butter coated crackers with chopped candied pecan pieces.
The Breton Artisanal Cranberry and Ancient Grains crackers I used for this recipe give it a unique taste! Breton crackers come in great tasting varieties that balance delicious flavors with wholesome ingredients. The cranberry has the perfect amount of sweet and tangy that compliments the nutty flavors well. Chances are, you may already have some of these ingredients on hand, so be sure to give these peanut butter pecan cracker bites a try for your next gathering! They may just become a new crowd favorite!

This look amazing. I wish I could eat pecans so bad because they’re so good. But I’m allergic 🙁 and found out the hard way.
