Is it really February already!? That’s almost hard to believe considering I’m still writing 2016 on things, but I’m not complaining! In fact I’m glad this year is flying by. Deep down I’m secretly anticipating for it to be May already, so if there was some sort of time machine I could hop in, I’d be just fine with that! We have lots of stuff going on, with many of those things taking place towards the middle of the year and I’m getting a little antsy! I’m trying my best to just live in the moment, although it’s hard when the future seems much more exciting! I’m hoping to spill all the details soon! In the meantime, here’s what I’m working towards this month:
Live in the present
Like I just said in the paragraph above! Need I say more!? But really, don’t get me wrong.. I don’t take any day for granted. I just need to have a little more patience, that’s all!
Share our wedding photos
Holy moly how have I not shared our wedding photos yet!? Or our honeymoon! It’s coming it’s coming!! It’s so hard to pick my favorites without overloading this site and my personal Facebook page with the 1000+ photos we’ve received! How does one decide!?
Get bikini ready- ha!
I can say this- One of the reasons I’m looking forward to May is because we’re going to St. Croix!! Chris and I have been wanting to go back ever since our last trip there in 2015 when we got engaged, and I’m so glad it’s finally happening! St. Croix will forever hold a special place in my heart, and for good reason. With that being said, I’ve got to get my act together if I want to even think about wearing a bikini. I’ve been letting myself slide a little too much with bad food choices lately, so it’s time to cut that bad habit out! It doesn’t help that it’s crawfish season, Mardi Gras season, and almost festival season here in Louisiana. The struggle is real…
Spend more time with family
One of the reasons we moved back to Louisiana was to be closer to our family again. When we got here, most of our weekends were consumed with wedding planning stuff that we had to catch up on since we weren’t able to while we were in Dallas. We didn’t have as much free time to see everyone as we would’ve liked. Now that things have slowed down for a bit, we hope to utilize that time to the fullest before it gets crazy again with our next project.
Spend more time on business training
I’ve recently invested in several courses to better both my blog business and Bijoux Avenue, but I’ve been struggling with finding the time to sit down and go through them all. This month I want to get through the trainings and start applying what I’ve learned to my businesses.
I’m actually really exited about that last goal! Bring it on, February! What are your February goals?

Lots of great goals for this month!! I too am trying to get bikini ready. I have a cruise out of Puerto Rico coming soon!! Sometimes living in the present can be hard when you have fun things to look forward too. I am not a patient person to say the least. I also want to spend some more time with my family. Good luck with your goals this month!

Good luck with your goals this month! We don’t have any tropical trips on the radar this year but that doesn’t mean I haven’t been busting my butt for all of my other vacations.

I loved reading your post and you have reminded me I need to revisit my goals as well!
Most of my goals this month are work-related: restocking my etsy shop, working on my portfolio and automating social media accounts.
Good luck with your goals and have a wonderful month of February!

Awesome goals! I’d love to do some blog trainings this month too! Which ones do you recommend?

OMG yes- wedding photos are so overwhelming. To help me decide on which to print/share on facebook, I used the photography app that my photographer used to deliver the photos. I placed a heart next to all of my favorites, downloaded only those and then printed/shared only those. Really helped me narrow it down 🙂
