I’ve never been on a vacation I didn’t like, so it’s kind of hard to choose between the places I’ve been, because really I would go back to all of them in a heartbeat! I’m a creature of habit, but the last thing I want to do when it comes to traveling is go to the same places rather than make new memories, but there are a few places that come to mind that are an exception! I thought it would be fun to share what I think are 5 places worth revisiting!
1. The Atlantis, Paradise Island, The Bahamas
Going back to The Atlantis in The Bahamas has been on the top of my to-do list for years now. I haven’t been there since high school, so I know my experience would be completely different this time around (hello fancy alcoholic beverages)! Plus there are so many new additions that have been added since the last time I was there, like more world class restaurants, a new waterpark, and an adults-only getaway! I’m thinking this may just be where Chris and I will celebrate our first anniversary next year since the resort is perfect for any type of celebration, especially weddings (by the way, check out these awesome wedding packages) and anniversaries.
2. New York City
New York City is one of those places you can visit over 20 times and always find something new to do. I know from experience! Regardless of how many times you’ve been, you’ll somehow still have a NYC bucket list with items still waiting to be checked off. New York City is also one of those places that changes by season. NYC in the summer is completely different than NYC around Christmas and both are definitely worth seeing! I personally love NYC during Thanksgiving and Christmas the most, if anyone was wondering!
3. Boston, Massachusetts
Boston is very similar to NYC in its own way when it comes to having lots of things to do and a different feel depending on season. This is another place I’ve been to more times than I can count, but would still revisit in a heart beat. It’s hard to do touristy things and still get a feel for what life is like a local, unless you have a really long stay, or multiple stays. To get a true feel for what Boston is like, I recommend revisiting just to hang out, all touristy things aside, and eat your way through the city.
4. Disney World
I’m pretty sure there isn’t one person in this world that would be against visiting Disney more than once, but correct me if I’m wrong! To me, a trip to Disney World is usually go, go, go with little down time, and almost leaves you feeling like you need a vacation after your vacation because of all the walking involved. I’ve been to Disney 3 times (once when I was a baby so that doesn’t really count) and I still haven’t been on every ride or seen every attraction the parks have to offer. If I could revisit, I would jump at the chance!
5. Saint Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands
Saint Croix was unlike any place I’ve ever visited. It will always be special to me since it’s where I got engaged, but that’s not the only reason I want to go back. Saint Croix was the first beach trip I’ve ever gone on where I got to experience the true feel for the island. We ate where the locals ate and hung out where the locals hung out. I guess you could call them locals, although many of these people are not natives, just retirees that live on the island for about half of the year. St. Croix isn’t as much of a touristy place as some of the other Virgin Islands are, so it really made for a completely different experience. It was perfect for relaxing and taking in the beautiful views without a busy schedule.
If you had to choose, what would your top 5 places worth revisiting be?

I went to the Atlantis a few years ago and while I really enjoyed it I think I would much rather a more private resort. My sister and her dad go all the time and they love it! And I didn’t really like paying $20 for a hamburger and fries! But it was an experience I enjoyed!

I love to travel! NYC is one of those places we try to visit at least once a year. I’ve never been to Boston, but would really like to. And I’m so excited that my husband and I will be traveling to U.S. Virgin Islands next month!

I’ve been to all of those except #5! I agree about them all worth revisiting, except NY… I am just not a fan lol But I there is so much to do and see it is worth it for most people to keep going back!

I live in NYC and I would say it’s worth revisiting if you haven’t been for the holidays or gotten to do all of the holiday stuff there or for the Thanksgiving parade. But if you’re looking for a relaxing vacay, NYC is not it (but that’s why I love it!). It is a place I would say every single person in the US needs to visit at least once. I’ve never gotten to go to Atlantis, but I’ve been to the bahamas and I would go back in a heart beat. It’s awesome! 🙂
