Every now and then I like to get crafty and put my DIY skills to use. The most recent project I checked off of my list was this DIY mason jar wall holder and I’m kind of obsessed with how cute it turned out! That’s partly because most of my DIY projects turn out to be an epic fail, but not this one! The moral of this story is if I can do this, so you can you!
Supplies for DIY mason jar wall holder:
– 3 mini mason jars
– Natural jute rope
– Burlap flowers (or any decorative piece of your choice)
– Hot glue gun
– Decorative hooks of your choice
Step 1: Wrap jute rope around the mouth of the mason jar three times, then tie into a knot to secure in place. Be sure to leave two 6″ tails.
Step 2: Take the remaining jute rope tail and tie it into a loop approximately 3 inches long.
Step 3: Cut the remaining tail off just above the knot.
Step 4: Repeat steps 1-3 for the remaining two mason jars, then decorate jars as desired.
Once the jars are fastened with the jute rope, hang the loop from any decorative hook. I found this rustic fleur de lis hanger at a local shop in New Orleans and knew it would be perfect for the look I was going for, but any will do! You can usually find a wide variety of styles at a craft store if you’re in need of one.
Since I’m limited on storage space in the guest bathroom, I thought this mason jar wall holder would be the perfect accessory for a small space. It’s also very versatile and fits nicely on the countertop, but to save space, I prefer the wall.
I like to keep the room stocked for when guests are over and I just loved how perfectly these lady products fit in them. I stocked U by Kotex® Click® Tampons since they’re compact and have such cute packaging. They may be designed small, but they protect big! Other products that work great are the U by Kotex® Sleek® tampons and the U by Kotex® Security® tampons, which can be found at CVS. Stocking a variety would give guests plenty of options for their needs.
Will you be making this DIY mason jar wall holder? What would you use it for?
