Here I am, y’all. Right on track with the pattern of talking monthly goals an entire week into the new month! Life has been insanely busy, crazy, all over the place (you name it, it probably applies) with moving, weddings, mini vacations, adulting, and so much more these past few weeks. The good news is I survived the move back to Louisiana! I can’t say the same about all of our stuff yet though. Chris actually flew to Dallas last night to clear out our apartment and load up the moving truck with all of our stuff. He’ll officially be heading back to Louisiana for good tomorrow, so I’m hoping everything goes well!
In other news, it’s time to talk monthly goals so I can hold myself accountable in some sort of way between all the crazy. Here’s what’s on my list for this month of June goals:
1. Send out save the dates
This is the biggest thing that needs to get done on the wedding to do list! As soon as I receive the final copies of our engagement photos, I’ll be choosing one to display on our save the dates. I’ll also have a fun post coming up about save the dates, so stay tuned!
2. Finalize our wedding website
I’ll be sharing our wedding website once we send out our save the date cards, so now would be a good time to go ahead and finalize everything and make sure all the correct info is displayed!
3. Clean up the wedding registry
Chris and I started a wedding registry at Macy’s and Crate and Barrel in Dallas before we moved. Once we got to Louisiana we registered at Bed Bath and Beyond since we really didn’t find much of what we needed at Macy’s, to our surprise. We actually ended up finding nearly everything we had already scanned at Macy’s during our Bed Bath and Beyond trip, so now I just need to go back and erase any duplicates. Registering was honestly one of my most favorite parts of the wedding planning process this far (hello, shopaholic here)! We scanned some things we don’t expect guests to buy, but plan to buy for ourselves after the wedding while taking advantage of the sweet discounts given to couples completing their registry! I can’t wait to fill our home together!
4. Find a gym
Between moving on such a short notice, being in my best friend’s wedding, and all the crazy that’s been going on in between, my schedule has been a bit off these last few weeks. Now that I’m back in Louisiana and almost settled, I plan to get into a routine again, but first, I must find a gym! This is on next week’s to-do list and I can’t wait!
5. Eat healthy
This is always a goal of mine and an area that always has room for improvement, but it really needs to be improved now more than ever. I blame it on the crazy due to the events listed above, but really it shouldn’t be an excuse. I fell off track and I’m not going to punish myself for it, but it’s going to stop starting… now!
Not too bad, right? I think I can handle accomplishing all of these goals! What are your June goals?

Planning weddings is so exciting! I’m excited for you just reading your June Goals! I’m dying for my older sister to get engaged already so I can plan the wedding. 😛 Good luck on your goals!

Great goals, girl! I am sure you’ll rock them. Are you starting to freak out about the wedding any? I sure am! Yesterday I made a list of all the things I need to do before the big day and got so overwhelemed.
xoxo, Jenny

How exciting that you’re right in the throes of planning a wedding! Registering is so much fun. For our wedding we got some really good le creuset cookware that will last a lifetime, I remember picking it out and planning the colour scheme of our future kitchen 🙂
