Ready or not, it’s almost time to trade in those jeans for shorts and boots for sandals. Transitioning from winter to spring can be a bit rough during those first few weeks, especially when you’re still rocking dull winter skin. These spring transition beauty tips will help you get the glow you need to feel confident as the warmer months arrive. I’m especially in a hurry to feel the most confident in my skin, not only for my upcoming engagement photos, but for my best friend’s wedding in just a few months. Time to get ready!
Tip #1: Use a glow moisturizer. The first thing you should do for the most natural looking color is exfoliate your skin. For a gradual glow on your face, use a natural glow moisturizer prior to makeup application, such as JERGENS® Natural Glow® Daily Moisturizer. Use this daily until you achieve your desired level of color, then continue to reapply 1-2x a week.
Tip #2: Apply bronzer to your face and neck. This is probably one of the most commonly heard spring transition beauty tips, but it must be said since it works wonders! Aside from using a glow moisturizer, applying bronzer is the easiest way to add some color to your face. Bronzing your cheek bones and forehead around your hair line will help you achieve a natural looking glow without the risk of aging your skin from sun exposure.
Tip #3: Follow up with a highlighter. If you contour your face, then you’re already familiar with this step. Highlighting above your cheek bones will take your winter skin from looking dull to lively and summer ready in just a few quick strokes.
Tip #4: Bring out the bright lips and nails. It’s time to ditch the deep lipsticks and dark neutral toned nail polish and opt for something much brighter to accent your spring and summer glow. Pinks and light, natural toned neutrals are a great spring and summer option for your nails and lips.
Tip #5: Use a glowing moisturizer to tan your legs. If your legs have been hiding behind pants all winter long, give your legs a gradual glow with a moisturizer like JERGENS® Natural Glow® +FIRMING Daily Moisturizer. For a natural glow, apply it evenly and thoroughly just as you would with any moisturizer; however, be sure to use sparingly on drier areas like knuckles, knees, ankles, and hands.
This gradual glow moisturizer found at Walmart will not only give your legs a natural glow, but will help firm your legs too, which is always a plus!

I never really thought too much about it, but it is true that I even begin to transition my makeup around this time. I don’t want to look so washed out and pale while I’m also reaching from the light pinks in blush and eye shadow. Gotta love Jergens to give that sun-kissed glow without the sun’s rays. – Katy

Loved reading those tips. Bright lipsticks and pastel nail paints are my favourites for this season. Would like to try a glowing moisturizer for my legs. Great post 🙂
