The March NCAA basketball tournament is almost here and whether you’re the biggest fan of the NCAA tournament, or don’t know much about the madness that’s about to take place, I’ve got you covered so you can still join in on the fun! First, you’ll want to be sure to get your brackets ready if you haven’t yet, because the first game of the March NCAA basketball tournament tips off on March 17! Once your picks are in, the fun can begin!
1. Create a bracket
Creating a basketball bracket is a great way to watch the entire NCAA tournament unfold. Put in your picks and sit back and test your luck. Who knows, you may even get to win something big, like an iPad Pro, TV, GoPro, and cash (details here)! Head to the Tourney Pick ‘EM to create your Yahoo Sports Bracket for the March NCAA basketball tournament if you haven’t already! The fun thing is anyone can play, even if you don’t know anything about basketball, because you never know what will happen during the games.
2. Play a drinking game
Nothing’s more fun than drinks and sports, am I right!? There’s so much excitement during the NCAA tournament that even non-fans can still join in on the fun. There are so many ways you can do this, but to keep the drinking game simple, just grab a group of friends and take a sip every time you see a slam dunk! Just be careful not to overdo it or you may be sorry later!
3. Throw a watch party
Chances are you’ll unfortunately be stuck in the office while some exciting games are going on, so now is a great time to convince your boss to have a work viewing party. This is a great way to test your bracketology with your friends and coworkers.
4. Have a potluck
In addition to a watch party, you can also have a potluck. There are so many cute basketball themed snacks you can make to go along with your team colors and party theme. These are just a few ideas.
5. Make a bet
Once you’ve made your Yahoo Sports Bracket, test your luck even further with a one on one NCAA tournament bet with a friend! You can bet on each individual game during the March NCAA basketball tournament, or bet on who will score the most points, who will miss the most free throws, or who has the best bracket!
Will you be tuning into the March NCAA basketball tournament? Who is on your bracket this year!?

My family always does a big bracket with some kind of bet! It’s a lot of fun, though my dad always puts the Aggies as the winner if he can. Hoping he has a better chance this year!

Brackets are always fun to participate in, even though I’m awful at it and never make it very far haha!

I don’t really watch basketball so the whole March Madness thing doesn’t interest me but brackets are a lot of fun to participate in! Drinking games are always fun and doing a potluck makes things even better.

Great ideas! I always start out strong but when my bracket falls apart, I tend to stop caring. I do always like parties and food though!

These are such fun ideas! My hubby plays basketball and still follows college basketball pretty closely so we always celebrate March Madness in our household.
