Anybody else sad about football coming to an end? I’m just about heartbroken at this point, but at least there’s still the Big Game to look forward to! Even if your team doesn’t make it, there’s still reason to celebrate! To change things up, I thought I’d share this simple Snickers® Blitz Dip recipe, which makes for a sweet alternative to the more traditional dips usually served during football parties. WHAT YOU NEED:
1 cup vanilla greek yogurt
1/2 cup crunchy peanut butter
1/2 cup chopped Snickers® barWHAT YOU DO:
Whisk together vanilla greek yogurt and peanut butter, then stir in chopped Snickers®. Additional chopped Snickers® can be added to the top for garnish, if desired.
Serve the Snickers blitz dip with fresh apple slices.
One thing I usually slack on for Big Game parties is dessert. It’s usually non existent or lacking majorly. Finger foods you can snack on throughout the game are usually ideal, so the Snickers® Blitz Dip fits in perfectly on game days.
It wouldn’t be a game day celebration without chips and salsa of course! Imagine my excitement when I came across these organic Tostitos Scoops at my local Tom Thumb! That’s why they’re my go to for all Big Game party essentials.
While hosting, you can keep things simple but still enjoyable with easy dip pairings. It’s quick to make and requires minimal cleaning in the end. Who can complain about that!?
If you plan on hosting for the Big Game this year, be sure to head to Tom Thumb or banner stores and keep an eye out for their sweepstakes for a chance to win $50,000. Wouldn’t that be nice!?
Will you be hosting any big game celebrations soon? If so, you may want to try some of these game day recipes too!
