What better way to ring in the new year than with a sparkling berry basil spritzer in hand!? It was a blast welcoming 2016 last night, but that doesn’t mean the celebration has to stop there! Since we all may have had a little too much champagne last night, I figured I’d share a lighter drink option today for those that don’t want to hear that three syllable word al-co-hol. This berry basil spritzer may be just what you need for a quick refreshment.
WHAT YOU NEED:
Seagram’s Ginger Ale
Dasani Sparkling Water (Berry Flavor)
Dasani Drops Infusions (Strawberry Basil flavor)
Dash of White Wine (optional)
Fresh Rosemary
Fresh Raspberries
WHAT YOU DO:
In a cocktail glass, combine half parts Seagram’s Ginger Ale and half parts Dasani Sparkling Berry Water.
Depending on how much of a basil taste you want, add approximately 1-3 drops of strawberry basil Dasani Drops Infusions.
Add fresh raspberries, approx. 3-5, then garnish with fresh rosemary for a slight hint of herb that compliments the basil nicely.
For most of us, New Year’s Eve is usually a late night, so this is a great drink option when entertaining guests since it doesn’t require much planning or stress.
I try to keep in mind weight loss goals for the new year when it comes to holiday drinks, and Dasani Sparkling water has zero calories, is caffeine-free, unsweetened, and has no artificial flavors, making it a great mixer.
If you plan on continuing last night’s celebration, check out these other drink recipes too! Dasani Sparkling water is available in 12 pack cans at Walmart in these flavors as well: lime, lemon, and black cherry, so don’t be afraid to get a little creative!
Cheers to the new year! I have a feeling it’s going to be a good one!

Wow, this looks SO good! Raspberry anything is my favorite, so this is perfect. I’m also trying to stay away from soda, so this would be a great alternative!

This drink is pretty AND sounds so tasty! We don’t have fresh raspberries here this time of year, but we still have some frozen ones left from the summer’s bounty. Would love to make this cocktail. Love the bar cart too. Perfectly complements the drink. Cheers!
