New Year’s Eve is quickly approaching and I was just about out of ideas for what to cook for our NYE party until I remembered a long time favorite- bacon mac and cheese. Need I say more!? I got a little impatient once I started craving pimiento bacon mac and cheese (my favorite cheese variety for this dish), so I decided to whip some up to hold me over in the meantime. Since it’s so easy to make, I’ll be making more on Thursday!
WHAT YOU NEED
1 box Cellantani pasta
1 tub Price*s® Southern Style pimiento cheese
1/4 cup milk
2.5 oz bacon pieces
Cajun seasoning
Black pepper
WHAT YOU DO
Combine entire tub of Price*s® Southern Style pimiento cheese spread into a mixing bowl with milk, and stir until evenly mixed. In a separate pot, cook pasta per instructions on box. Drain pasta and allow to cool. Combine pasta, cheese mixture, cajun seasoning, and pepper into a saucepan, then stir and cook over low heat for approx. 5 minutes before serving.
Bacon pimiento mac and cheese is a great dish to serve over the holidays since any leftover pimiento cheese from the main dish can also be used as a quick appetizer.
Price*s® Southern Style pimiento cheese spread is my go to since it tastes the same as I remembered as a kid- so good and creamy!
For a quick appetizer, you can serve the pimiento cheese spread over a slightly toasted bite sized bagel. For a little extra kick, I recommend trying the new Price*s® Southern Style jalapeno pimiento cheese spread.
The cheesy bagel bites just so happen to be a great snack between those holiday meals and alongside the bacon pimiento mac and cheese. You can find Price*s® Southern Style pimiento cheese spread to make both recipes at select Texas Walmart stores near the cream cheese in the refrigerated section. Go here to find a store that has it near you.
Do you have a favorite NYE recipe you’ll be making this year?
I’ve partnered with Price*s® to bring you this delicious snack idea, but all opinions are my own!

My hubby loves pimento. I’m a Southern girl and have never been crazy about it (or grits, while I’m confessing) but this sounds like something I may actually like! I’m going to make this soon for both of us because it sounds pretty tasty! Thank You for sharing! Hopefully I can win some wifey brownie points. 🙂
