Crisp Apple Pie Fall Cocktail

Tis the season for all things apple, pumpkin, something spiced, and everything nice!  I don’t know about you, but a perfect fall day in my book is full of oversized sweaters, comfy leggings, fresh baked pies, and a fall flavored cocktail.  Now if that’s not basic then I’m not sure what is.  I’m am pretty sure this apple pie cocktail is basically everything fall you can imagine in a glass though.  Bonus points for when it’s served by the pitcher because it’s oh so good.

 WHAT YOU NEED
1/2 cup fresh apple cider
1/2 cup 7UP TEN®
1 apple, sliced
1 shot caramel vodka
1 tbs cinnamon
WHAT YOU DO
In a drink shaker, combine the fresh apple cider, 7UP TEN®, and caramel vodka.  Shake well until mixed. Place one tablespoon cinnamon onto plate.  Dampen the rim of your glass, then dab the rim of the glass into the cinnamon to coat the rim.  Fill the glass with ice, then pour apple cider, 7UP®, and vodka mixture into the chilled glass.  Slice the apple into mini pieces, then add about 3 or 4 slices of apple into your drink. Top with a hazelnut or cinnamon stick for added spice.  This recipe yields one individual drink.
The 7UP TEN® adds a slight tangy crisp to the drink that compliments the apple cider nicely.  If you prefer to have more of a spiced taste, you can use Canada Dry® Ginger Ale.  Both are great options with 10 calories and full flavor. 
I found both sodas at Target and will be stocking up to make this all season long.
