Since we’re already on the subject of music around here this week with the LSU gameday tailgating playlist I shared on Tuesday, let’s keep the music trend going, shall we!?
I’ve mentioned it before, but I’ll say it again. I’m a huge music fan, and I like all music. Pop, rock, rap, EDM, country, you name it, I’ll play it. Just because I enjoy listening to almost every genre doesn’t mean I can’t be selective though. I find my favorites from each category and I’m known for playing them on repeat.
This week, with all things football on my mind, and just returning from Louisiana, I have my new country music playlist on repeat. The newest artist addition to my playlist is Pete Scobell, an ex Navy SEAL turned country music’s newest star.
I love reading background stories on how artists got where they are today, and the Pete Scobell Band story is nothing short of amazing. While recovering from a brain injury, Pete Scobell continued his musical journey and used his talents to help rehabilitate himself. His recovery tells a powerful story, the same story that can be heard through his songs on his new album, Walkin A Wire. If you’re looking for something new to add to your playlist, I encourage you to check this out and also enter the Pete Scobell giveaway!
In celebration of the new album, one lucky reader will have the chance to win the Pete Scobell giveaway for a special signed copy of Pete Scobell’s new album, plus the chance to win an Orca cooler (valued at $269)!Go here to enter the giveaway!
