Easy crafts are the only ones that actually get completed around here. I’ve been wanting to add more decor to my office, but wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted to do until I found inspiration in a set of gold polka dot coasters I recently purchased and then the idea of a DIY gold confetti polka dot print was born! Since my office is mostly white, black, pink, and gold, I knew incorporating the gold polka dots would flow perfectly, so I decided to put this gold confetti polka dot print together using a few supplies I already had around the house and some gold foil card stock. If you’re looking to add a little confetti sparkle to your home or office, this simple DIY gold confetti polka dot print tutorial is an easy way to do so!
What You Need:
– Circle Craft Puncher (preferably various sizes)
Step 1:
Using the hole puncher, punch holes into the gold foil card stock to create your confetti polka dots. You may do various sizes or the same, whichever you prefer to achieve your desired look.
Step 2:
Carefully dab a small amount of Mod Podge onto the back of each piece of confetti using a sponge brush. If you accidentally get glue where it shouldn’t be, you can use a Wet-Nap® to remove it. Remember I said this was an easy clean up craft!
Step 3:
Place confetti polk dots onto your white card stock where desired and allow to dry. Once dry, place the confetti filled card stock into your frame and place the finished product where desired!
Since I already have my gallery wall designed, I decided to add the gold confetti polka dot print to my desk for some added sparkle. I love how it brightens up the room a little bit more!
I found all the supplies for this DIY project at Hobby Lobby and Walmart! Visit Walmart for all your Wet-Nap® needs!

Wow, it’s stunning and it really does seem like it’s truly simple to make. I tend to shy away from all DIY projects regardless of how simple people “claim,” they the project will be. I’m pretty much lacking in the arts and craft, remodeling, decorating, painting, drawing, etc. departments and it just kills me because I absolutely love tinkering with and attempting all projects. I can’t tell you how many DIY projects my kids and I have done and the finished project is so sad looking that my kids feel the need to comfort me. Fortunately, they inherited some talent that I’m missing. I just don’t have it. But, I never let it get me down nor do I let it stop me from the fun or attempting DIY activities. The only downfall is that I never save any money attempting to do it myself. The finished project looks childish and I have to either make a store purchase or spend more money on additional supplies and pay someone to complete my DIY project.
But this one, I can honestly say I think even I can manage. I’m willing to wager I that even someone with my lack of artsy talent can punch cardstock holes and it won’t cost me any money because we have all the supplies at home. I’m really excited. The colors are perfect and mix well with my Black, white and gold home office. Thanks for sharing.
