When it’s time for dinner around here, the grill is usually fired up five times per week. Sometimes I’m either too hungry to have enough patience to wait for chicken or steak to grill or I have plans and taking the time to cook dinner isn’t in my schedule. Then there are the days when a healthy meal like curry chicken Asian stir fry sounds like a good option, but I don’t want to be bothered with cooking due to nothing other than the fact that I want to binge watch Orange is the New Black. That may or may not have happened last week.
Okay, so I lied. It totally happened, but I still have two episodes left so no spoilers please! So to make time to enjoy my summer tv binge watching, I took the easy dinner in the microwave route and saw my way out of the kitchen and straight to the couch. I have those two time savers pictured above to thank for that. Birds Eye Asian Style Protein Blends and Tyson Grilled & Ready chicken breast filets gave me a healthy and convenient dinner in minutes.
WHAT YOU NEED
Birds Eye Asian Style Protein Blends
Tyson Grilled & Ready Chicken Breast Filets
(For the Curry) Curry Powder, Onion Powder, Garlic Salt, Paprika
Olive Oil
WHAT YOU DO
For the Asian stir fry blend, microwave in bag for 4.5 minutes, per instructions on bag. For the chicken breast filet, microwave chicken breast for 3 minutes, per instructions. In a separate bowl, mix together 2tbs olive oil, 2tsp curry powder, 1tsp onion powder, 1tsp garlic salt, 1tsp paprika. Spread curry pasta over chicken breast and serve on top of Asian stir fry blend.
The new Birds Eye blends are packed with protein and can be found at Walmart! You can also find the all natural Tyson Grilled & Ready chicken breast filets there too. Not bad for a quick meal! What do you think? What’s your easy go to meal?
