Ever since the first time I stepped foot in Trader Joe’s, I knew I would love it. I have a lot of favorite things I specifically go there for, but then it seems like I always come home with something different as well, and it never disappoints. That store is like the grown up version of a play place to me, so I figured I’d share a few of my favorites from Trader Joe’s, starting with some items I specifically go there for and can never leave without. I have a lot of favorites, so I’m sure you’ll be seeing more of these posts in the near future.
Six buck goodness in a bottle. I’d go into the details of why this stuff is good, but I don’t know all the technicalities that the wine connoisseurs speak, so I’ll leave it to you to decide. It is sweet, but as not sweet as moscato if that helps. Trader Joe’s surprisingly has a big selection of wine, with some as cheap as $3. How can you turn that down? You can’t.
2. Cookie Butter Ice Cream
Everyone’s heard of the heaven on a spoon known as cookie butter, but they went and took it to the next level with cookie butter ice cream. It’s everything you dream of and some.
3. Coconut Oil
This deserves a post of its own since there are so many uses for coconut oil. I especially love this stuff because it is organic, unrefined coconut oil. It works wonders on dry skin.
4. Chicken Fried Rice
I like to keep this in the freezer at all times for when I’m in a hurry for a quick meal. The bag is big enough for about 3 large bowls of rice and heats up in under five minutes in the microwave, so convenient!
5. Dark Chocolate Espresso Pillows
These are like chocolate covered espresso beans, but smaller. One of my favorite guilty pleasures is a Starbucks java chip frappuccino, but these espresso pillow give that java flavor I crave without all the calories. They’re great for when you are only craving coffee for the taste.
Do you have any favorites from Trader Joe’s you can’t leave without!?

Around Christmas, the local store had this amazing almond Kringle (like a Danish). It was so good that we were buying at least one a week.

I love all those things, too. Also love the nut selection — especially cinnamon almonds and thai lime cashews.
