When I travel, I always pack my bag with certain necesseties that can easily be accessed when on the road or up in the air. Traveling can be long and tiring, but with the right objects in tow, the process goes a bit more smoothly. I like to check in most of my stuff when flying since I prefer to carry less when walking through the airport, but you’ll never see me traveling without these five travel necessities.
Sunglasses: There’s nothing worse than being stuck on a plane where the window shade in the aisle next to you is open and the sun is beaming right in, directly into your eyes. Sunglasses have been a life saver for me when traveling. They also help darken the light when trying to nap while on a long car ride. I have a hard time sleeping during daylight, so these help trick my eyes.
Headphones: If I could have it my way, the world would have built in speakers in all the trees so music could play wherever I am. Since that will probably never happen, headphones are the next best thing. I made the mistake once of flying and forgetting my headphones. It made the hour long flight feel more like ten hours.
Makeup: If I had to choose only two beauty products to leave the house with, it would be lipstick and mascara. When I travel, I feel like a sleepless hobo within a few hours, so this helps liven me up a bit.
Portable Charger: This is one of the best inventions ever. I always keep my portable charger fully charged in case of emergencies so I’m never disconnected from the important stuff, like Instagram.
U by Kotex: When traveling, the last thing I want is an accidental leak. Sorry, but it’s true. I like to have confidence that I’m fully protected and the U by Kotex Ultra Thin pads with a one of a kind center allows me to travel without a worry with their leak proof technology. These are perfect for when you’re expecting that time of the month to arrive at any given moment or when it’s already arrived.
U by Kotex is giving away free samples. I’m the type of person that likes to try it before I buy it, or at the very least, know what to expect. I gave the samples a try and was able to find a product I loved. I’m not a fan of scented feminine products since I don’t fully trust the effects of artificial fragrances, so the unscented products immediately won me over. I was surprised by the quantity and variety of the samples I received as well! Getting the free samples sent to you is easy. All you have to do is click here and enter your mailing information and U by Kotex will send them right to you!

Not going to lie, these liners are my go-to's. You just never know what you need or when you need it, so you might as well prepare. I'm still looking for a portable charger that I like, though!
