With the holidays coming up, I’ve been craving all things warm, baked, and sweet. You can usually find me in the kitchen this time of year, baking up something good with plenty to share.
My recent go-to quick snack has been cinnamon “sugar” pretzels. They’re quick, easy, and give that cinnamon spice taste we all crave in the fall. I’ll use the term sugar lightly though, because these pretzels are actually made with Pure Via natural sweetener.
Making these is as simple as mixing together Pure Via Stevia, cinnamon, cooking oil, and pretzels. It couldn’t be easier!
For this recipe, you will need one 16 ounce bag of pretzels, 1/2 cup Pure Via Stevia, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, and 2 tbsp of cinnamon. In a large bowl, pour the oil over the pretzels and toss until well coated. In a separate bowl, mix the Pure Via Stevia and the cinnamon together. Once mixed, pour the Pure Via and cinnamon mixture over pretzels and toss until all pretzels are coated. Lay coated preztels on a baking sheet and bake at 250 degrees for 20 minutes and you’re done!
Since Halloween is a few days away, I portioned the pretzels into trick or treat grab bags to share with friends and family. I also left a few around the house for decoration and a quick snack! If you have trick or treaters in your area, this is a great snack to hand out to help promote a healthier lifestyle instead of traditional candy!
You can find the Pure Via to make this recipe at Walmart and while supplies last, you can save $.55 on one Pure Via® Non-GMO, All Natural, Zero Calorie 40 Ct. Packets here. You can even get a free cookbook, songbook, and song download from Jewel here!
What’s your favorite fall snack? Do you have a favorite recipe you’ll be sharing this Halloween!?
