My Sunday Funday all started with a lunch trip to BJ’s Restaurant for a quick pasta and pizookie fix, emphasis on the pazookie. Oh my word, if you haven’t had one, you should since it’s basically heaven on a spoon. Quick was the highlight of this trip, because with their new Dine In Order Ahead app, there’s no waiting around.
I’m a huge fan of eating at restaurants, but I’m personally not a fan of waiting. That problem was solved real quick when I downloaded the BJ’s mobile app onto my iPhone and placed a food order from home. Don’t worry, Android users, they’ve got you covered too!
The timing was perfect! As soon as we arrived at the restaurant to check in, our order was processed. We were sitting down for about two minutes and our food arrived. Shrimp scampi and a chicken club all in record time? Yes please! Without spending unwanted extra time in the restaurant, we were able to spend more time with Chris’s family that was in town to visit. I call that a win.
The food didn’t disappoint and we had plenty of left overs. Of course no trip to BJ’s Restaurant would be complete without ordering a pizookie also. I considered not sharing.
At the end of the meal, we didn’t even have to wait for the check, thanks to the Mobile Pay feature. Paying was as quick and easy as typing in my card info and pressing submit. I could get used to this. If quick meals are your thing, this one’s for you.
