With summer being right around the corner, I’ve been trying to be more health conscious. This means eating less junk and snacking on healthier options. There’s only one problem though, and that would be the boyfriend. What is it with men and getting them onboard? You say you want to start eating healthy and next thing you know they’re ordering pizza for dinner. The struggle is real.
I think I’ve finally gotten Chris to get on the same page though, so slow improvement there is. I’ll take what I can get. He’s the stubborn one that assumes something labeled diet or reduced fat won’t taste as good. Now don’t lecture me on the fact that diet is worse for you, blah blah blah, because I’ve done my research. But my point is that because something is supposed to be healthier, Chris instantly rejects it, assuming it won’t taste good.
Take yogurt for example. There’s regular, light, greek, and so on. Obviously greek is the better option. More protein? Less sugar? Yes please! But for Chris, he just wasn’t having it, so I thought I’d finally prove him wrong and put him up for the ultimate challenge: the Yoplait vs. Chobani taste off.
I told him he’d be trying two different yogurts. I didn’t tell him they were greek, just to see if he would notice a difference. He was blindfolded and tried Yoplait Greek 100 Strawberry and Chobani Simply 100 Strawberry.
He tried the Chobani yogurt first, followed by the Yoplait.
After trying both, he said he liked the second one he tried a lot more than the first. So, we had a winner of the best greek yogurt! Chris favored the Yoplait Greek 100 over the Chobani Simply 100. When I told him both were greek, he was quite surprised. He said he could tell the Chobani was greek by the bitter taste of it, which he doesn’t care for, but didn’t notice a different between regular and greek Yoplait. I tried both as well, and I agree. I preferred the Yoplait!
And that is how you fool your boyfriend. Now Chris can no longer say he doesn’t like greek yogurt! He even asked if he could take one to work. See what happened there!?
So now that Iโve taken the Yoplait Taste-Off, itโs your turn. Let me know who won your taste off!
And if you’re in the mood to eat, check out all these recipes with greek yogurt here under the recipes tab. I had no idea there were this many possibilities.
*this taste off was sponsored by Yoplait, but the best yogurt was determined by me*

What a man for playing along! The blindfolds are hilarious! I tried the Yoplait 100 and could tell immediately there was sucralose in it, and decided from then on to get the regular greek yogurt and have the extra 30 or 40 calories instead of the fake chemicals ๐
