And on top of that, I will be moving back south in less than two months. It’s like all my dreams are finally starting to come true! It’s been rough being so far from home, not gonna lie, but to anyone anxiously anticipating an end to a chapter as much as I have, remember this; everything you do is for a reason and in the end it will always be worth it.
The last thing I want to do is move and have regrets of not experiencing a must-do in either of the two cities. I’ve done many tourist and non-touristy things in both places, but I know the cities have much more to offer.
If you are from Boston, New York, New England, or are just a huge fan, what are some things you would recommend doing? Bonus points for recommending a place to grab a drink by the water or with a ballin view! I’ll be putting together my final New England bucket list soon, so I definitely don’t want to leave anything out and would love to hear what you all have to say!

Congrats! I know you love it where you are now, but you'll definitely love Dallas too! It's a pretty fun city, and it's not too far from Austin (the best Texas city ever– but maybe I'm just a little biased.)

Maybe I'm partial as a Rhode Island girl, but if you have time, you should take a drive down to the mansions in Newport – I just love it there!!

I went there as a child on family vacation and LOVED Newport. SO beautiful and historic!

I'm not from New England, but I lived in Savannah for 2 years in graduate school and thought I'd done just about everything to do in Georgia and southern SC before moving back home, but I still think of things I miss or wish I'd done. Just enjoy every minute you have remaining and soak it all in!

I love Quincy. In Boston I could go on for days about what to do there. Sometimes, we just go grab drinks at the wharf hotel, they have a harbor view. One of my favorite places to grab lunch is in the south end at the buttery. love it. and santarpios pizza is year in, year out voted one of the top three pizza places in the country. Think the departed when you go to the neighborhood, haha but it is worth every bite. There is no menu, just pizza and you can get lamb and sausage plate;)
Have you done Great Barrington or Williamston?
and I will also say rhode island. I am not sure if water fire will be going on in Providence or not, but I love Federal Hill. And Wickford is such a cute town!
Anything specific you have ideas about doing? and I will email you about NYC, we go about 7/8 times a year and I know it better than where I live.
