These are a few of my absolute favorite beauty products that I use on the daily and could not live without. When it comes to makeup, I like a good balance of pricey, affordable, and excellent quality. I’ll admit I used to be a beauty snob and did not own one drugstore brand of makeup, but after realizing that I could have way more fun in Target with the $30 I would spend on mascara, I quickly changed my mind. When it comes down to foundation though, I do usually splurge on that one since it’s for my face and I would rather not look like a grease bucket. But for everything else, the drug store brands do just fine and in fact, I like some even better than the expensive Sephora products I used to have.
1. Make Up Forever HD Invisible Cover Foundation – this is the priciest makeup product I own but I swear by this stuff. It’s an invisible coverage foundation that doesn’t leave your face feeling or looking cakey, but does the job to hide the ugly stuff. I have oily skin and was hesitant to switch to a liquid foundation at first, but I haven’t had any problems with it.
2. Elf High Definition Powder – this stuff is a godsend and at the price of only $6, I’ll never spend $45 on the Make Up Forever powder that goes with the foundation. There’s no difference between the two except the price tag! This stuff works great especially for the summer time if you’re looking a little shiny.
3. Maybelline Rocket Volum’ Express Mascara – for the longest time, I was stuck on the Christian Dior Dior Show mascara, that is, until I tried this. I personally think the rocket mascara leave my lashes longer and fuller than the Dior.
4. Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer – anddd Maybelline does it again! This stuff works great to cover under the eye circles and dark spots. Perfect after a long night out 😉
5. Elf Waterproof Eyeliner Pen – this stuff is only $2 and is another godsend in my book. If you haven’t tried Elf, then you’re missing out. Don’t let the cheap prices fool you, the quality is no joke!
6. Nars Orgasm Blush – I was never a huge blush person until the girl at Sephora convinced me to give this a try. This blush is a nice shade of peach with a little shimmer to it. It pairs great with bronzer. No rosy pink cheers over here!
7. Elf Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths – Elf! Enough said. Seriously though, this stuff is a must, especially if you plan on using that waterproof rocket mascara. It gets the job done!
These products are what I use daily during the week for a quick fix in the mornings before work. I’ll have to do another post for you soon with my favorite eye shadows, primers, etc. that I usually add to my routine during the weekend or a night out!
What are your beauty favorites?

I use a lot of different Elf products! I just bought the makeup setter (no clue if that's what it's called) and am looking forward to trying it. Also, if you're looking to save a few more dollars, I have found a pretty good duplicate for Nars Orgasm—Milani is the brand and Luminoso is the color (I think). It is VERY similar!
