It’s Friday y’all and guess what that means! It’s the weekend and this girl finally gets to cross some fall activities off her bucket list! That’s right, I have a weekend fully scheduled with apple picking, pumpkin patching, haunted corn mazing and hay riding. Woohoo! I’ve never been apple picking before (do they even have that in Louisiana?) nor have I been in a corn maze so I can not freaking wait. And who doesn’t love pumpkins?! I’m hoping to come home with quite a few because I plan on glitter bombing those things!
Fall is in full swing over here in New England right now and the trees are gorgeous! I wish they could stay like this year round. Life is just better in color.
The leaves are starting to fall and it reminds me of my childhood when we would rake up a huge pile to jump in! I’m thinking I need to relive those memories soon. I’m sure my neighbor wouldn’t mind me raking their yard.
In other news, the season needs to slow down a bit. Now that the leaves are falling that means winter will be here before we know it and so will all the darkness that comes along with it. This is what it looked like over here for Halloween last year. That’s less than two weeks away and I’m not ready to give up the prettiness of fall just yet.
But.. on a happier note, there is at least one good thing with winter coming. I booked my flight to go home to LaWeezyana for Christmas and I’ll be there for three whole weeks! I can’t wait to see everyone and indulge in all the food I can get my hands on. I’m also planning a mini road trip into Dallas and Austin, TX to explore the area for a few days. With graduation coming in May, I guess it would be a good idea to start finalizing Chris and I’s relocation decision. Dallas, Austin, NYC, or Boston… decisions decisions..
What would you choose?

Happy Friday!
I’ll be backin my happy azz up all the way through the corn maze to this one!

LOVE your photos! Probably the only thing that makes living in the north worth it are the change of the leaves on the trees. So beautiful! And I would go with Austin because I hate to cold and I hear it is a really neat city. Somewhere that is def on my bucket list to see:)

One of my favorite Fall memories is raking up a huge pile of leaves and diving in! And now looking back, I realize my parents' enthusiasm was LESS about my mad jump skilzz and ALL about their spotless lawn, raked by their little minion daughter… Awesome.

I love winter and dislike summer, so I'd pick Boston or NYC!

I love fall festivities. I went to a haunted house for the first time ever this year! It was really fun.

I am SO jealous that you already have leaves all over the ground! Ours are slowly dropping, but fall hasn't hit its peak yet. I am so ready to play in the colorful leaves!
Those are 4 very different cities you are looking at moving to. I personally love Boston, but I think looking at the dynamic of the overall city and deciding which one vibes with you two the best will play a key role in your final decision making. Good luck!

i would TOOOTALLY choose Boston but Im biased 🙂 really though its amazing!!
BUT..if you didnt choose boston id choose Austin…its literally in the top 5 favorite cities of mine!!

I would always choose NYC. But then again, Austin is supposed to be amazing!
Love those pumpkins!

My vote is Austin or Dallas… after we chatted about how much we loooooathe New England winters, I think you'll be happier in TX. Plus you'll be much closer to home for easier/less expensive visits.
Fall in New England is so pretty, but like you said it only lasts for so long before winter sets in for several depressing months 🙁
P.S. I miss jumping in the big piles of leaves!

love those pumpkin ideas!!

I love those pumpkins and fall looks amazing in New England. I should think any of those cities would be amazing to live in, but you need to write a list of pros and cons!
