If you’re ever been greeted by that little flashing folder with the question mark inside as pictured above, run, because that means your MacBook has had enough. Like one too many margaritas, passed out on the curb of Bourbon Street enough.
So what does this mean? Well if you’re lucky, this means you just need to tell your little baby where the operating system is because it’s forgotten from all of those margaritas it’s had. Buttttt.. if the cards aren’t in your favor and you’re s.o.l, like myself, that means your hard drive has crashed. Aka, you just lost your entire life that’s been living inside that little machine and a few hundred bucks to fix it. Which leads me to my next thought…
Computers are programmed to crash!! Yeah I said it. Call me crazy, but I’m really starting to believe this is true. How can something work perfectly fine with no warning signs and then all of a sudden 30 minutes later, BAM, it’s done. dead. gone. donezo. I just don’t get it!

Welp, I guess I should probably stop feeding my MacBook so many glasses of wine before this is my reality.
Jasmine V says
that really sucks. Hopefully you can get it fixed at a reasonable price.
Kailagh says
Depending on your warranty, you can get a whole new computer for free!

Oh Dara! That absolutely sucks. I think I have owned 6-7 laptops since college started. I have the shittiest luck. I usually see a BLUE screen as my drunk computer sign. They are all the same. And as much as I just want to take it to the Geek Squad for the 1000th time, they don't do shit to help me. They say it will cost $500 for this and $100 for that and a $50 fee. Well no thank you because I will just buy a new one.
Awweee sorry girlie!

Oh no!!! I am so sorry about your macbook! This happened to me during finals week once…but thankfully it was recovered somehow? Still not totally sure how. The biggest lesson I learned though was back up, back up, back up!

I agree!! All tech equipment is bound to fail eventually! I am still rocking an iPhone 4 because I am trying to wait for the next version. However, phone wants to DIE…bad. It's like she is on hospice. Good thing for having a blog where hopefully you have already uploaded a lot of your favorite pics!
Chloe West says
Oh no. I totally agree, technology is meant to break so that you'll buy another one. It's terrible!

Oh no! This post made me want to start crying! I will now add my MacBook to my daily prayers 🙂 haha!

Total tear worthy.

New follower from the blog hop! I feel your pain because my computer crashed last summer. With my external hard drive sitting next to it. And all my stuff still on my hard drive.
Steffany @ Spit and Sparkles says

SO unfortunate! But your wording of how a computer can be having too many drinks totally cracked me up! Hope it all works out for you.
