Although it’s not even Christmas yet, I figured now would be a good time to get a head start on thinking about new year’s resolutions for 2019. I always get off track during the holidays, so I feel that talking about this with y’all is the best way to stay focused…
Current Fitness Goals
I’m at the final stretch of the 8-week training program I started in February at my local gym and the part I struggle with the most when it comes to fitness is right around the corner. I’m an accountability type of person. I need someone to hold me accountable, otherwise it’s easy for me to skip a gym day, and then another, and then another after that…
August Goals
I’m having a hard time believing it’s already August, but I’m okay with that because August means IT’S CLOSING MONTH!! Well, hopefully! Our scheduled closing date is August 31, so as long as the builders are still on schedule we should be good to go! Fingers crossed…
June Goals
I can’t believe we’re already almost a full week into June, but that’s totally fine by me! I’m still counting down to August 31! All of this house building stuff has been keeping me busy, so time has flown by lately. I’m happy to report I’ve accomplished my May goals, with the exception of the house selections still…
May Goals
Woohoo it’s May! May is full of exciting events for me- it’s my birthday month, it’s vacation month, and it marks our 6 month wedding anniversary! How has it been half a year already!? Crazy! Since it’s already May, that also means we’re one month closer to our house being done. Now if only August would get here already…
April Goals
Woohoo it’s April! That means I’m one month closer to my birthday month and vacation, so I’m pretty excited about that! A new month means new goals, even though I’m still working on some from March (see counting calories from March goals). While I still work on getting better at that, this month I’m adding a few more to the mix. Here are my April goals…
March Goals
Wow, this year is just moving right along! I’m ready to take on March with a full reset! February was fun, especially with all the Mardi Gras shenanigans but to say I need a bit of a reset would be an understatement. I feel like my body has been running off of king cake for the past few weeks, which is partially true! That definitely doesn’t help…
February Goals
Is it really February already!? That’s almost hard to believe considering I’m still writing 2016 on things, but I’m not complaining! In fact I’m glad this year is flying by. Deep down I’m secretly anticipating for it to be May already, so if there was some sort of time machine I could hop in, I’d be just fine with that! We have lots of stuff going on, with many of those things taking place towards the middle of the year and I’m getting a little antsy…
January Goals
I’m still scrambling to get on board with my new year’s goals and resolutions, but better late than never, right? We may be half way through the first month of the year, but there’s never a wrong time to start. Rather than mapping out all of my goals for the entire year, I’m choosing to break them down into monthly segments…
December Goals
It’s December already!? How is that so!? I’m not complaining since this is my favorite time of the year! I’m just now realizing that I forgot to share my goals for November last month, but I guess that’s what happens when you’re in full wedding planning mode during your wedding month…
October Goals
Who writes their October goals 20 days into the month of October? This girl right here and I don’t know if I should be ashamed or what! These past few weeks have been crazy and the timing of this post proves it. Time has literally gone by in the blink of an eye for me. I thought by now things would chill down, but boy was I wrong! At this point I just need my honeymoon to get here already because this wedding planning stuff has my head spinning…
September Goals
This month will be the most challenging for me, but I’m excited to get started! I joined a group weight loss challenge at my gym which officially kicked off this week. It’s an 8 week long challenge that is divided into teams that compete against each other with the overall goal of who can lose the most body fat percentage. I’ll be working closely with a trainer, who from what I’ve been told, loves to give a good butt kicking, so it will be interesting to say the least. I’ll be done with the program just in time before the wedding and…
